Port Saint Lucie Map
Port St. Lucie is a city located on the Atlantic coast in St. Lucie County, Florida between Vero Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. This sporting city is home to the New York Mets spring training, and the St. Lucie Mets Florida State League team. The city prides itself on being a wonderful place to call home, where people can ‘live, learn, work and play, and celebrate all of life’s opportunities and dreams.’
The city is the 8th largest in Florida, and the 3rd largest in South Florida. It sprawls across 120 square miles, about half way between Orlando and Miami. The warm tropical climate combined with the numerous parks, golf courses, and the St. Lucie River attracts tourists year-round, along with people looking for a wonderful city to call home.
The Real Estate market is attractive and diverse – traditional older suburban neighborhoods mix in with new purpose-built mixed-use communities that feature homes within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
There is a wonderful array of things to do in the city, including nature hikes through environmental preserves, and kayaking down the beautiful river. Savannas Preserve state Park is a 10-mile coastal park where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, and canoeing. Port St. Lucie has 30 public access beaches nearby where you can experience snorkeling, surfing, horseback riding, or just enjoy some well-deserved relaxing!
The I-95 runs through the city and makes for easy travel throughout the area. You can reach West Palm Beach in under an hour, and Miami in just over 2.
